Did they really go all Empire Strikes Back/Tauntaun in the movie...Wow.
Well, it started out well. I enjoyed the backstory on Leo's character, him hunting the moose with his son and then the attack on the camp by the Indians...Good start.
But then it went downhill after the bear attack. The movie slowed way down, there was no tension even till the end.
I started playing CGI/Not CGI.
Indian shot out of the tree CGI (But a great shot)
The Bear Of course CGI
The Bear Cups pretty sure CGI
The moose crossing the river. I think real but could be either
Leo racing down the river CGI in most parts
Avalanche Real
It really seemed like it was a 6 hour movie. Revenge movies have been played too death, just didn't care
Leo will win his oscar he was that good, same with Tom Hardy. The one who surprised me was Domhnall Gleeson. I always thought of him as a Rom-Com light comedy actor. He was a bad ass in this movie
