Booker and Castro are 4 years away. If Hillary loses, it's their party in 2020...but they'd be hard-pressed to perform well this cycle.
The GOP has a good roster in theory.
Jeb, Kasich, Pence, Walker, Rubio all would have reasonable Presidential / VP candidates based on resumes coming into this cycle with Christie and Paul having their own niches of support. But Trump and the Tea Party ascendant have destroyed what a positive resume looks like.
Add in bad performances (Walker, Jeb) and skipped races (Pence), you've got what we have now.
