they really need to see trump get blasted before any lessons are learned*. right now they genuinely believe trump is a political revolution who will win in a landslide.

*note: no lessons will be learned. but maybe moderate republicans* will be emboldened to speak up.

*note: I'm not sure these exist in the wild anymore.
