That's fine and sucks for him but were the other athletes demanding he not be invited because otherwise it's just ESPN shooting themselves -- (edited)

in the foot. They need better ratings and to leave out the guy that brings the fans seems to be a very bad idea. Even if the others don't like him, they're showing up hoping to win and get paid.
