the meanest prank I ever did in university was hiding a trout in someone's sofa.

sofa was on their porch, it was midwinter, we didn't like them (I think one night in a drunken rampage they'd dumped our garbage bins all over the lawn), so we put a trout inside one of the cushions in February. they found it sometime in late May.
