Ugh, there are almost no astronomical units of measurement that are not geocentric.

A light year? The distance light travels in a year. An EARTH year.
Astronomical Unit? The distance between the Earth and the Sun.
A parsec? Some funky calculation based on the AU.
So, what can we use? Meters. I know, for instance, that a light year is about 10 petameters.
