In response to "Re B2, here are my thoughts on the potential move:" by kelly

My .02. It sounds like staying and the new commute in current job just isn't viable. So there are two possible solutions. The move (steady job, good

schools, lower cost of living) or a career change for Will (staying or moving). Will seems pretty unhappy with his job. Of course a new location, different people, etc. may help that, but it doesn't sound like something he's excited about. I think this is the point where you either take the low risk, moderate reward of moving or you take the high risk and higher upside of a career change. Risk of course is much higher with this. May not pay as well, may be less steady. But the upside of doing something you really enjoy is significant. Of course this only makes sense if there's something you've really been interested in trying. Where you see that significant upside. If you really don't have that "thing" you want to do, then the move sounds like the best option. Maybe it will get you out of the rut and help you find that "thing". Staying put and commuting or just finding a replacement job that you're not passionate about doesn't seem like a great option.
