council decided the recommendation wasn't enough and added $10k onto the recommendation. I'm okay with them getting a raise considering that they'll also be full time now with limitations on outside work. My issue is that they vote on their own raises and that they went well above what was recommended.

  - $100k to $150k in NYC isn't a ridiculous salary. If they want to keep good people and not lose them to the private sector they need to pay them well. - Krusty Feb 4, 06:52
