Are there awards/ceremonies for baseball/football, etc...?

In Australian football, there's a big awards event at the end of the season for the league's best player and other awards. Everyone in the sport goes.
Voters place votes each week for who the best players were in each game. The votes are secret and not revealed until that evening, when they go through them for each round of the year.
There's a similar ceremony for cricket, and I just realised that I don't know whether MLB puts on a similar bash for baseball players
