The deal was we didn't ask him for anything and he wouldn't raise out rent. In the decade I've lived here he's fixed one thing in the place and that

was only because it was a leak that was affecting his restaurant. Otherwise, if it broke we fixed it. Small price to pay for cheap rent. Though, I can't fix everything so the place needs a lot of work like new floors, new drywall, repairs to the roof, a new bathroom, new windows and I can keep going but suffice it to say it's a gut reno for this place.
