I really thought Glen was a goner and his wife's reaction was chilling.
I thought it was an important episode for Rick because he states his motivation for continuing on and almost more importantly - that he believes the Alexanderians are worth his trust. That means he can trust others, once they prove themselves, which will allow him to rebuild the world.
So many random other thoughts.
The only thing that really bothered me was that Rick trusted Gabriel with Judith without any proof that he wouldn't puss out. They sort of just made us believe, for no reason. Something that TWD does from time to time.
