I'm willing to call Shadow of Mordor one of the best three games I've ever played.

Not only is it a fantastic storyline, but the leveling system is incredibly satisfying. At the start of the game, Talion (the character) is best off running away from base-level orcs who will wreck his shit. Now about 3/4 through the game, he's an unholy specter of destruction.
