It was slow and dumb and I hated the James Franco character. And I never saw a purpose for the whole movie

I think they were trying to show Selena Gomez's character wanting more in life. But then she left 2/3 through the movie and the last 1/3 was "Look at us, see how fucking stupid we can be"
