Big excitement down at Starr Ranch Sanctuary this week as this year's Barn Owl couple have so far produced two eggs

Last year there was only one egg and Momma owl abandoned that when her man failed to provide food during incubation. There may have been a shortage of prey due to the drought. We're all hoping for a successful hatching this year.

This kind of sanctuary is careful not to interfere with the natural process. They did go against policy a few
