Welp, never using FTD again, just awful.

Ordered flowers for Valentine's Day last week for my Mom. Made sure to order something sourced through a local florist (rather than 'by mail' flowers). Card charged, order confirmation received.
Two days ago, I realize my mom never commented on the flowers, which she would always do, so I ask her if she got them. She says she never received them and didn't get notified of a missed delivery.
So I submit a missing order form to ftd.com. Today, I get a note saying they are sorry that they could not find a local florist to source my order and will refund me.
Issues:
- They never told me they couldn't fulfill the order so I could order from someplace else.
- If I had not contacted them, they would have kept my money.
