I'm being a bit mean but truly the mistress will be okay - its not like she's on the streets - she will find a way to move on.

I'm saying put the compassion in a better place.

another note - I'd worry the wife is simply trying to hold on, dig into the details and that is likely unhealthy. you know what I mean?
