I know I'm in the minority when thinking this way, but the return on investment with any pet is not worth it imo. I absolutely love other people's

pets. My neighbor has 2 dogs that are great, the kids play with them, they're friendly and snuggly and awesome. The kids' cousin's families have dogs too. Awesome dogs, fun to play with etc.
I, however, don't want or need the extra responsibility and expense of walking/training/feeding/boarding/petting etc that comes with owning an animal
