It's unfair to say that Trump has nothing. There's plenty of evidence that free trade, immigration, technology,etc materially impact the lives of

people who lose out from these changes. Overall, the US is better off and wealthier with these things, but that doesn't change that some people lose out and those people do not see their problems being addressed by government.
