Right, my point is that it's an understandable mistake given McKellen's quote.

And Smith couched his statement with, "If that's true..."
The only interesting aspect would be if he's trying to steal away that diver from the Milk writer. Then, it's a fairly savage amount of shade thrown insidiously.
