Do you do this for the sake of doing it, or for addressing the consequences?

Hitler changed the world and led to the rise of America as a world power. No Hitler, no America as a world power. But at what cost? Millions died.
JFK? Maybe. LBJ did plenty after JFK. I don't see much benefit to saving JFK other than you've saved a man's life.
The consequences of 9/11 have been horrible. Extremism has only risen since, and our liberties have been destroyed. Not only would you save hundreds of people, you'd produce a less bleak 21st century.
But, truly, if I had to change something in recent history, I'd change the outcome of Bush v. Gore.
