I think the lesson for Hillary is to focus on her own messages and ignore Trump as much as possible.

It'll be easier for her in some ways - it's not like the Republican primaries where there are ten people competing for a smaller space.
But it will still have challenges. She can't get too frustrated when he swings back to the centre (like, say, Obama after his first debate against Romney)
