Ty, I have been to 9 countries in the 3 years since I got my passport and have zero country stamps in it. How often do you get stamps when traveling?

That come up this morning. Seems some cruises tell you *not* to take your passports ashore, just your cruise cards.

Most countries stamp me (My 2009 passport, which has extra pages, may not make it to 2019 expiration due to space)

And it probably doesn't matter, but the stamp is not always a stamp. Japan has a sticker, for instance.

You can always ask. It really depends on the country. I don't know about going to countries via cruise though and if that's less likely.

This is a good point, I always come in by air. Also, haven't been to the Caribbean at all. -- nm
