Based on current trends, I don't know that the math adds up for this approach at all.

But if they drop out, it definitely doesn't. The only shot of forcing a brokered convention is staying in and splitting the vote as much as possible.
As I said yesterday, I don't think there will be a brokered convention based on current data, but the possibility can't be 100% ruled out.
