If RG3 was what he showed and what was thought, Cousins never gets a chance to have a great 10-game stretch 4 years later.

It's not exactly Houston drafting early and often on QB's till you get one. You trade and draft the bounty for your guy...you've got him.

That they got lucky (again, for 5/8ths of a season to date) with an extra pick doesn't mean it was the most effective allocation of resources.
