Trump claims he is extending the Republican Party (based, I presume, on the heavily increased GOP primary turnout). Agree? Disagree?

Overall GOP turnout is way up and Dem turnout is way down.
Responses:
Disagree. Trump voters are Trump voters, not Republicans. -- nm

Which to me prompts the question of why he didn't run as a Dem. -- nm

Because xenophobic and misogynist demagoguery doesn't play as well for them. -- nm

Surely he could have figured out the Dem version of that, since he doesn't believe what he's saying... -- nm

His problem is that the dem version of that is plutophobia, which doesn't play well with his plutomania. -- nm

But wouldn't that support his case? If these folks aren't (or weren't previously) Republicans, he drew them in.

Except that they won't stick around if he's not the nominee, and he's losing the #NeverTrump Republicans. -- nm

Right and right. I don't mean they'll vote for Hill, but can they stomach not voting against her? -- nm

Disagree...more people voting is a positive (as he implies) only if they're voting for you heavily.

I think he is drawing people that always voted in the general, but never saw much point in voting in primaries/caucuses.

I think that's a very salesman way to say it. It assumes that moderate/establishment Republicans are going to stick with the party no matter what. -- nm

I think he is pulling in people that do not normally vote, especially in primaries.
