one of the 2 major parties is undergoing a substantial crisis and the other side's front-runner is an embattled candidate.

Someone has to win this; and for the sake of the national stability, it damn well better be the person who's being actively investigated by law enforcement.

How fucked are we as a nation when that's our leadership? We are the shining light of this world, but for how long if this is the endgame for our parties?
