I did not vote yesterday: And here's why!

I wanted to! Truly I did! I had my heart set upon it, but the system worked against me.

Tuesday is my swim day so I have to coordinate getting off of work and then getting to a pool and getting home by seven before my butt tunrs into a pumking (aka so I can play dnd online). So I had the bright idea of going to the city of which my county is named and go vote there.

LITTLE DID I KNOW THAT THERE ARE SUCH THINGS AS PRECINCTS!

And since my precinct is a good 20 miles south, I was not allowed to vote in the Primaries. How did I find this out? BY WAITING IN LINE AND FINALLY DECODING THE WEBSITE TO FIND OUT WHAT FREAKING PRECINCT I BELONGED TO.

Why does it have to be this hard? My buddies in Virginia voted with no problem.

This system is stupid and there needs to be more readily made information so the masses can vote.

*frustrated screaming*
