Ladies and gentlemen of SlackerTalk! I need your help! I'm again getting my head shaved for St. Baldrick's to raise money for childhood cancer

Last year - thanks in large part to many, many generous donations from folks here - I was able to raise $1,500 to fight f'ing childhood cancer, and I'm looking to top that amount this year.
If case throwing some numbers at you helps:
-In the U.S., more children die of childhood cancer than any other disease — more than AIDS, asthma, cystic fibrosis, congenital anomalies and diabetes combined......
-And yet, all types of childhood cancers combined receive only 4% of the U.S. federal funding for cancer research. (this statistic always makes me shake my damn head).
The event is on April 17, so I'm starting my fundraising efforts earnestly today.
