We're five episodes in on NCIS but I went ahead and watched the new season's premiere tonight. (spoilers...hi Mel!)

The bit with the traitor was a masterstroke. You are feeling such extreme sympathy for this woman as everyone celebrates the return of the person re-taking her job. It's such a sincere moment of pain...then, the reveal is done that she shot the guy and is the villain. That's really, really, really good.
