The thing that's starting to frighten me about Drumph is his recent turn back to the middle.

Everyone assumes the same thing will happen to him that happened to Romney. That the base is suspicious of anyone not displaying ideological purity. That's what crippled Romney who had almost no time to pivot to the center lest the radical right bolt on him. People think Drumph faces the same problem but I worry he doesn't. That a move to a more moderate stance won't deter the hardliners. That they'll understand it's what has to be done but that they "believe" he'll be the guy they love.
That worries me.
