He never *promised* anyone he would, for sure, get a shelter dog. It's silly to criticise him over this. If it was *your* child you would do what was best for her. I bet if he got a shelter dog someone would criticise him because some breeder lost a sale and Obama thereby caused the economy to weaken further. Sheesh.
