and as has been shown on this board, he *didn't* promise to get a shelter dog. he said his preference was to get one from a shelter. That's proven to not be possible with the consideration of allergies so they went another route and made good to a local shelter. Ye gods, man.

Re: your last question. It's a fucking dog. Spend your meager political capital here if you feel you must, but you look ridiculous for doing so.
