like the concrete in the bathroom didn't appear to be surfaced or varnished or glazed (or whatever) so it was absorbing water and staining. the carpets were poorly laid. no baseboards, so you could see the poor cutting/joining around the base of the walls. just everything once you looked closely kind of sucked. not that we were thinking of buying it anyway, but still disappointing.

oh, and the counters and cupboards in the kitchen were super-cheap.
