Yeah, I don't expect the protests to change the minds of those predisposed to support Trump.

But it's likely to raise awareness among the ignorant and undecided and the more violent the backlash against the protests/protesters, the more those on the fence will fall away from Trump and, frankly, this is a get-out-the-vote endeavor. People who would otherwise have sat idle at home aren't going to sit idle as they see people getting attacked.
