At Tribal, Probst said that Alecia was on the Brawn tribe because she never backed down for anyone, so I expect there was some editing going on.
But I also think you're right regardless. They never accepted her from Day 1, didn't vote her out, regretted it, didn't vote her out again, regretted it more, and took it out on her.
