Let's see, Speaker of the Florida house by age 40, Senator by 40, demographically important....
competently supported in the general at 45 years old...
He'll head off for a few years, get re-settled and I wouldn't be shocked if he's the Governor of Florida come 2018. At that point, 2024 becomes a viable target if his gubernatorial career goes well.
He hasn't committed a career ending gaffe like Muskie's tears or Gary Hart's "Catch me cheating" scandal.
He's run a 3rd place campaign in a cycle where the #1 guy is a lunatic and the 2nd place guy is a much more predictable lunatic.
