i think they're both terrific. and, from bb, of course it's part of the show to find people who are unexpectedly excellent.

that's pretty much the whole deal. it's just a bonus show-wise when they look plainish and add that extra bit of surprise to the mix, though i always find the older (than, say, 20s) bittersweet because i think about what might have been for them if they were discovered earlier... and maybe had some dental work/styling done.
