Not to mention the fact that you're just plain wrong about the idea that gamers don't want to pay for their games. Of course they do. They love games!

They love gaming companies that make good games and want to reward them with their money.
Pirates are going to be pirates no matter what companies do. So the last thing companies should do is piss off the people that actually DO buy their products with such terrible DRM.
