Do bands that no one's ever heard of get to even have a rider?

Because the only reason they're even getting booked, methinks, is because of the famous movie star in the band.

yep, in fact the infamous 'no brown M&Ms' was because the venues weren't reading the riders right and there were problems with the equipment etc

Riders are contractual to playing a venue. All performers and production companies get them. -- nm
