yep, in fact the infamous 'no brown M&Ms' was because the venues weren't reading the riders right and there were problems with the equipment etc

because of it. so the band put in something really stupid (no brown M&Ms) because it was REALLY easy to check and they knew if they had M&Ms but no brown ones, it meant the venue really read the rider.
