Sarah got arrested to end the last episode, so she's in jail and questioning sticking to her story that her son is dead.
Meanwhile, Weaver still wants to meet with John and Cameron is telling him to leave his mother behind...which, of course, he ignores.
Cameron goes into the prison in "bad-ass" mode and at the same time, John Henry gets in control of the prison computer system and releases all of the prisoners, including Sarah.
Sarah and Cameron walk out of the building to a waiting John. Cameron is showing a lot of metal after the firefight.
They're off to meet Weaver. During this meeting, a drone shows up to kill them. Weaver promptly turns into a huge shield, thus saving the lives of John and Sarah and causing the huge reveal that...holy shit...Weaver's the good guy and apparently, John Henry is a system being designed to track down and destroy his "brother."
eventually they are led to another time traveling device in which John and Cameron get sucked into the future, leaving Ellison and Sarah behind.
Cameron does not make the return trip, so John lands alone and is found by Derek and Kyle Reese and accompanied by Allison (the human version of Cameron.)
