I truly don't think American, Delta, or United would be permitted to buy them. 90% sure Southwest wouldn't be allowed either.

Those guys are all too big and have eliminated enough smaller competitors.
Jetblue's not as good as it once was, but it's a quality airline that can have competitive prices, decent (not as good as it used to be, but decent) legroom and TVs at every seat.
