This was the approach tried in Oregon that didn't work out.

A couple pharmacies tried to claim that the pharmacy could not fulfill prescriptions based on the individual pharmacist's religious beliefs. The courts essentially ruled that a pharmacy could accommodate an individual religious believer by having another employee fill the prescription, but the business could not refuse service entirely based on the religious beliefs of its employees.
The courts did not address the question of whether a business as a whole could have a religious identity though.
