I just grabbed a conversation chart I have. The chart only goes up to 13.5. An a1c of 13.5 corresponds to a 3 month average blood sugar of 403. -- nm - kelly Mar 23, 20:03 17

HbA1c of 6.5 means you have diabetes... he is substantially higher. I think the lab may not be able to measure it above 18. -- nm - James Bond (aka Igor) Mar 23, 20:03 5
