IANAL, but found a site that says most prenups don't expire. "There are no statistics on sunset clauses, but most attorneys say they are atypical.

Violet Woodhouse, a California attorney and author of "Divorce & Money: How to Make the Best Financial Decisions During Divorce" (Nolo Press, $34), estimates that 20 percent of all prenuptial agreements she has seen have had expiration clauses. Many lawyers say they've seen far fewer."
