I'm not quite sure what I think about the lightbulbs blowing out.
What I did notice was all the windows opening/wind blowing the leaves all over the place. I thought that was intentionally similar to Father Flynn's sermon about the pillow/rumors flying like the feathers. Sister Alouysius (sp)'s rumors blew around like the leaves - who knows how many of those flew away?
