it's very positive that you guys do tend to balance one another out most of the time. maybe this is just an amazing opportunity for you both to learn more about how to work through the bad times together.
i think it's not good that she doesn't trust that you aren't going to back out, even when you say you won't... but it does sound like you have had a few inklings of doubt. maybe she's tuned into this. maybe this is an opportunity to sit back and figure out what you -both- can do differently for a more positive result.
