Kind of along the lines of part of pmb's situation, ladies how would you feel about moving into your so's "bachelor pad"

This was a bit of an issue when Ashlee and I first decided to move in together. I'd been in that apartment for three years and it was so obviously "a guy's place" that Ashlee didn't really feel like she would ever feel like it was "ours." I obviously loved my old place, but the fact that they kept raising my rent made it so that I didn't really mind looking for a new place. The funny thing part of the reason she felt that way was because all the furniture in there was mine, but she had little furniture to bring with her that even in the new place most of it was still my furniture. Over time though we've gotten rid of a lot of my old bachelor furniture (I miss my black leather couches!!!) and bought furniture together.
