Yeah after looking closer it looks like the layover in Reykjavik isn't that good. Several hours. I think I'd rather pay an extra hundred or two for

non-stop. I would totally layover in Reykjavik for several hours and do a little sight seeing, but not for 3 hrs in the middle of the night. Boring!
