i had to fight, hard, to NOT have these horrible 80s glass topped, bamboo framed (bent in awful circular patterns bamboo) coffee and end tables moved into my new place. and, i was in a bad position to argue because i didn't have ANY coffee table. i had to agree to get rid of my easter island head thing (which was in my old garden and i wanted to keep) as a trade for getting rid of those tables.
